the slower you eat the better it is for you but I'm gonna tell you how to eat
slowly if I can tell you that here's what you do set your timer on your phone
for ten minutes you're going to eat for ten minutes straight but you're going
to take super small bites smaller bites than you would ever be used to and
you're going to chew those bites as slowly as possible and you know you might
nor makes you five times to 10 to 15 times per bite and you're really just
enjoying the food so for people like me who love food it works out really well
because I'm enjoying the food I'm eating and you're gonna put your fork down
between every bite so take your take your bite put your fork down and to super
slowly so once that ten minutes is up you completely stop eating for five
minutes I always tell you this was hard at first because I tend to be a fast eater
I want to just get on with my day get on with my life because I just don't want
to take the time that it takes but slowing down really helps you to be able to
listen to your body and we've all heard that it takes like 20 minutes for your
brain to catch up with your stomach so by timing yourself for 10 minutes and
then pausing for five you're gonna set your timer for five sometimes I'll get
up and do something if I'm by myself or I'll answer emails or I'll do whatever
if if it's a family dinner.
